Endpoint

• This is the URL where you will announce where the data would be sent to.  This is static and will be the same for all your publishers. More on endpoints are here.  

Protocols

• So that we can meet all possible methodologies your publisher partners may be using we included them as below:

  • POST
  • PUT

Body Formats

• You will be able to accept the most commonly used data formats in APIs:

  • XML
  • Form Post

Fields

• Once you select the protocol, and the format of the data that is required for the API to work, you can now create the fields of the lead data you will keep in your database.  Typically they are like

• • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Email
  • Phone
  • Address
  • …..
  • Etc.

• This to define how the customer accepts the data and responses back to you with the accepted message so that you can determine if they accepted the lead data sent.
