What is an Inbound API?
- Once you become a subscriber the first service you might want to create is an inbound API. Inbound APIs are how you receive lead data from your partners which we call them publishers. Our self-service platform enables you to create your custom inbound API so that you can announce your campaign specifications to your publishers for them to send the data.
- An Inbound API is specific to your operation and is created in the beginning but can be modified throughout your subscription. The API describes the general rules of your API specifications as a whole. Each publisher sending you data will use a subset of your general API specifications by using campaigns that describe a specific set of rules for that campaign.
